Command JUNCTION

Function:

Create a symbolic link via a reparse point.

Syntax:

JUNCTION [/B] [/V] name [target]
/BDisplay no output. Bare output.
/VShow version information.
nameSpecifies a valid name for the link.
targetThe directory to link name to.

Note:

Command DIR displays <JUNCTION> instead of <DIR> in a long directory listing when a junction is found.

To remove a junction use the RMDIR command. The target directory does not need to be empty to remove the junction.
