Standard Commands

There are 22 commands in this category. Just about every command shell supports the standard dos commands below. Click on the commands name to display its syntax and any extra infomation related to the command.

Description
ATTRIB Displays or changes file attributes.
CHDIR, CD Displays the name of or changes the current directory.
CLS Clears the screen.
COPY Copies one or more files to another location.
DATE Displays or sets the date.
DEL, ERASE Deletes one or more files.
DIR Displays a sorted list of files and sub-directories in a directory.
EXIT Exit WinOne® or Windows.
HELP Display help information for a WinOne® command.
LABEL Creates, changes, or deletes the volume label of a disk.
MEM Display free memory that is available in the system heap.
MKDIR, MD Creates a directory.
PATH Displays or sets the search path environent variable for executable files.
PROMPT Changes the command prompt.
RENAME, REN Renames a file or files.
RMDIR, RD Removes (deletes) a directory.
SET Display, set or remove environment variables.
TIME Displays or sets the system time.
TREE Graphically displays the directory structure.
TYPE Displays the contents of a text file.
VER Display the version numbers for Windows and WinOne®.
VOL Display the disk volume label.
