Associate

The associate list contains all the file name extensions that can be associated with WinOneŽ. Currently, this includes batch programs (ie. .BAT, .CMD and .WBT) and WinOneŽ external commands. A tick mark is displayed next to the file name extension when it is associated with WinOneŽ and no tick mark is displayed when a file name extension is not associated with WinOneŽ.

When a file name extension is associated with WinOneŽ, simply, double click on the icon with the associated file name extension (in any explorer window) and WinOneŽ will be executed with the program passed as a parameter to WinOneŽ.

The Restore Defaults button resets the file name extension associations to their default setting. That is, .EXC and .WBT is associated with WinOneŽ and .BAT and .CMD is not associated with WinOneŽ.

Even though there is a high level of compatibility between WinOneŽ and CMD.EXE, it is not recommended that .BAT and .CMD be associated with WinOneŽ. See Context Menu Additions for another way to run .BAT and .CMD batch programs with WinOneŽ.
